We were visited by Dr. Patricia Harding who wanted to gather some material to her new book about pseudobulbless orchids that belong to Zigotetalinae subtribus. At the time she participated of AOSP orchid show acting as a judge and also visited the nursery of Mr. Kayasima, first collector of the Miltonia named after him.

While working on the synonymous revision of the orchids that will be on the first volume of Brazilian Species Photo Encyclopedia of Orchidstudium Project, Baptista was driven into a complete revision of our species on Kew on-line database, suggesting also the addition of the new occurences recently registered to Brazil. This work results can be checked on Royal Botanic Garden, Kew.

Dr. Patricia Harding, from Oregon, author of the book The Debatable Epidendrum, volume 6 of Cattleyas and Their Relatives series, by Carl Withner, visited us. At the time she participated of the judgement of the orchid show of São Bernardo do Campo, in São Paulo State, and visited many orchid sites with Marcos Campacci.

Dr. Carlyle Luer, from Sarasota, Florida, the most important researcher of Pleurothallidiinae of all times, visited us. He is finally preparing to release the volumes of Icones Pleurothallidinarum that will discuss the Brazilian species belonging to this orchid tribus. The volumes already released can be ordered directly from the on-line library of Missouri Botanical Garden.
